My mom didn’t go to work today.
She works from home whenever there is a black rainstorm warning in Hong Kong.
As a heavy typhoon whipped at my window, I wondered if ancient Cantonese people ever imagined themselves on a 35-story building constructed on a filled-up subtropical island.
I thought of this project I did for a history class, one that I wrote as a satirical syllabus and treated as an art project.
